Al Muntada Al-Islami is happy to announce that a dedicated Marriage service has been established. As a Masjid and community centre we believe we have a responsibility towards the community and its needs, and none more important than the matter of marriage. There are many marriage services available which do not adhere to the Quran and Sunnah. Many services fall into practices where the situation becomes too westernised and both men and women become uncomfortable with the process. Our service is for those who are not comfortable attending matchmaking events and using online matchmakers. We will endeavour to make sure that the whole process is upon the Quran and Sunnah.
The service is open to all Muslims, both men and women possessing British or Eu citizenship.
The service caters for both English and Arabic speakers.
Application forms are provided in both languages.
After completing the registration form, each person is required to pay a £20 one off admin fee and hand the form in at the Masjid.
An introductory interview to the service is done to complete registration.
After completing registration the process of a finding a suitable spouse begins.
If someone suitable is found, you are contacted to determine if the matter can continue. If you agree then some details will be given for you to consider. Only if the two parties agree will there be an exchange of details. All meeting arrangements are then organised by yourselves. We simply introduce the two parties only.
Rules and Guidelines:
Al Muntada Al Islami reserves the right to cancel any application if deemed fit without refund of admin fee.
All women require a guardian to complete the application.
Al Muntada Al Islami will facilitate the needs of a guardian if a woman has embraced Islam, if needed.
Applications will be removed if some gets married or you request removal.
We do not handle any photographs nor will you be asked for any.
Al Muntada does not promise to guarantee that all meetings will be successful.
We make sure that all information taken is true to the best of our ability.
